MADE IN GERMANY-AFRICA to be held in Addis Ababa
Trade and Fairs Group and the German Embassy brings the Made in Germany- Africa trade fair that is set to open its doors from March 2nd to 4th, 2023 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The trade fair will provide a platform for key African industries to enhance multilateral trade relationships. Over 2,500 Germans as well as African professionals, investors, diplomats, government personnel are expected to attend, providing a unique opportunity to discuss and refresh these major relationships. “Famous products and services specially prepared for the African market will be offered at the trade fair.” Iskandar Negasi, CEO of the organization.
He said that more than 55 German companies will participate in the trade show, and that it is expected that there will be more than 2,500 participants.
German and African experts will discuss solutions for African educational organizations i.e. schools, universities and other higher learning institutions. Others will meet with German companies leading in infrastructure, clean cities, building systems, environmental solutions, digitalization, and manufacturing of machines. Financing projects, leasing machines for agro-processing & other finance topics will be discussed with World Bank, IMF, and the German KfW Bank. Some of the other discussion points will include the new important European and German regulations for Ethiopian and African exporters.
According to reports, specialists from Germany and Africa will discuss a variety of topics, including how to arrange educational institutions in a quality manner. The trade fair plays a significant role in increasing the number of German companies investing in Africa, according to Onur Yel, the German Embassy’s economic attaché in Ethiopia.
