Former President of CBE Becomes Ambassador of Ethiopia to Morocco
Former President of Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE), Bacha Gina, is now assigned as Ambassador of Ethiopia to Morocco.
Bacha, who is now replaced by Abie Sano, former President of Oromia International Bank, at CBE, is new to diplomatic missions.
Before joining CBE, Bacha served the Cooperative Bank of Oromia and Awash International Bank as Vice President – Credit Management and Chief Finance and Support Services Officer, respectively. He has more than 22 years of experience in the banking industry.
Ex-Attorney General, Berhanu Tsegaye, has also become an Ambassador of Ethiopia to Australia. It is to be recalled that he was replaced by Adanech Abebe, former Minister of Revenues, earlier this month.
Mihretab Mulugeta has also given an assignment as the new Ambassador of Ethiopia to Eritrea. He has replaced Redwan Hussein, who is now State Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Mihretab was the director general for European affairs at the Ethiopian Foreign Ministry.
Markos Tekle, who was State Minister for Foreign Affairs, is named as an Ambassador of Ethiopia to Egypt. He has replaced Dina Mufti, a career diplomat.
