SantimPay Completes 44 Million Transactions Valued at ETB 16 Billion in Annual Report

SantimPay Financial Solution held its 2nd annual ordinary general meeting of shareholders, where it reported processing over 44 million online transactions valued at ETB 16 billion, with a total merchant transaction volume of ETB 20,040.

In the QR payment segment, SantimPay processed more than 18,764 transactions and onboarded 5,500 new QR merchants, expanding its market presence. The company also added 85 new online merchants, reinforcing its position in digital financial solutions.

Financially, SantimPay reported ETB 152 million in revenue and ETB 86 million in profit before tax, indicating strong financial health.

The company strengthened its ecosystem by integrating with six banks to enhance transaction processing efficiency and reliability.

SantimPay engaged in various marketing campaigns to increase brand visibility and participated in industry events to solidify its reputation in Ethiopia’s fintech sector. Looking ahead, the company aims to seize new opportunities and maintain its leadership in payment solutions. Shareholders expressed confidence in SantimPay’s strategic direction and future prospects, marking another year of growth and impact.
