HCMD to Hand Over Houses by September 2013

Habesha Constructions and Materials Development (HCMD) will hand over its first round of homes to customers in September, 2013, Eng. Bekele Gadissa, general manager of the company told EBR. “384 houses will be ready for a hand over,” said Bekele.

Housing units at Sun Set site, around Meri Lockie and CMC site have been under construction since March, 2012. All the units in both sites have been sold out, according to the engineer. Those at CMC were sold for 8 thousand Br to 10 thousand Br per square meter and those at Sunset site were sold out for 9 thousand to 11 thousand Br per square meter.

“Prices of houses at the later site are a little higher as they are located in a relatively comfortable location and infrastructure,” said Bekele. Customers have paid a 25 pctdown payment and will cover the balance in 4 rounds of payment in two years time, the manager added. Other villas, which have been under construction since September, 2012 would be handed over in November, 2013, according to Bekele.

Established in May 2010, HCMD had been producing construction materials before its engagement in real estate business in March 2012.
