Ethiopia to Develop Satellite Industrial Parks
The Industrial Parks Development Corporation (IPDC) unveiled plans to develop over 50 satellite
industrial parks across the country. The National Industrial Parks Spatial Plan, indicated types of IPs that
will be developed over the next two decades, and their feasibilities where to be built.The spatial plan introduced four types of parks, in addition to the existing industrial parks and agro-
industry parks. These include five logistic parks, five special economic parks, over 25 development IPs,
and over 50 satellite industry parks.
