The Prime Minister who gave policy remarks at the closing of the three days forum held on June 30-July 2, affirmed that the Development Bank of Ethiopia (DBE) is availing enough credit to the private sector.

On the opening of the country’s first cash-and-carry wholesale store, ALLE Bejimila, around Megenagna area in Addis Ababa, on 26 May, 2014. ALLE is the trade name of the state enterprise, Ethiopian Trading Enterprise, managed as a private entity which wholesales food and other consumer goods for the public at a national level with a competitive price. During the inauguration, the Prime Minister said his government is seeking a trade system reform and the introduction of ALLE is part of that. He added the trade system reform is based on seeking to create competitive and market oriented business environment in the nation.
