The Federal Police Commission launched its first countrywide policy on community policing on December 23, 2014 at Ghion Hotel in the presence of Shitaye Minale, deputy spokesperson for the House of Peoples’ Representative and Aster Mamo, Civil Service minister.

Today, the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) and the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO), in partnership with the African Union (AU), launched the African Solidarity Partnership Trust Fund to finance the implementation of the ‘Renewed Partnership to End Hunger in Africa by 2025’ program. Ethiopia became the fourth country to be a beneficiary of USD2 million for the next two years from the Trust Fund, after Malawi, Angola and Niger.
